Hopefully it will raise ideas and concerns that NAWP can then help to address, but of course it also permits us to share our experiences both from the UK and internationally, with a wider audience.</p> <p>Do look at the forum, add your postings there, and continue to let NAWP know your thoughts.</p> Fri, 06 Mar 2015 00:00:00 +0000 Athena Swan awards http://www.nawp.org.uk/events/index.php#62 http://www.nawp.org.uk/events/index.php#62 <h2 class="newsh2">Athena Swan awards</h2> <p>Several schools of pharmacy have received these awards, or operate within departments that hold them. NAWP urges pharmacists to only leave the register if they have explored the position very thoroughly, and not to be blinded by the prospect of saving a few hundred pounds. The cost of leaving could be far greater.</p> <p>For those in England who have left, CPPE is offering help, see the CPPE website for upcoming events.</p> Wed, 11 Jun 2014 00:00:00 +0100 NAWP annual conference, Cardiff 26th April http://www.nawp.org.uk/events/index.php#53 http://www.nawp.org.uk/events/index.php#53 <p><!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> <w:WordDocument> <w:View>Normal</w:View> <w:Zoom>0</w:Zoom> <w:PunctuationKerning /> <w:ValidateAgainstSchemas /> <w:SaveIfXMLInvalid>false</w:SaveIfXMLInvalid> <w:IgnoreMixedContent>false</w:IgnoreMixedContent> <w:AlwaysShowPlaceholderText>false</w:AlwaysShowPlaceholderText> <w:Compatibility> <w:BreakWrappedTables /> <w:SnapToGridInCell /> <w:WrapTextWithPunct /> <w:UseAsianBreakRules /> <w:DontGrowAutofit /> </w:Compatibility> <w:BrowserLevel>MicrosoftInternetExplorer4</w:BrowserLevel> </w:WordDocument> </xml><![endif]--></p> <p><!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> <w:LatentStyles DefLockedState="false" LatentStyleCount="156"> </w:LatentStyles> </xml><![endif]--><!--[if !mso]> <object classid="clsid:38481807-CA0E-42D2-BF39-B33AF135CC4D" id=ieooui> </object> <style> st1\:*{behavior:url(#ieooui) } </style> <![endif]--><!--[if gte mso 10]> <style> /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0cm 5.4pt 0cm 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0cm; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language:#0400; mso-fareast-language:#0400; mso-bidi-language:#0400;} </style> <![endif]--></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB">Several years of networking across Europe resulted in pharmacists from the Netherlands and Germany joining UK pharmacists and pharmacy students at the National Association of Women Pharmacists annual conference, held in Cardiff on 26th April.
