NAWP 2014 Pre-Reg student competition

At the NAWP annual conference in Cardiff, (April 2014), three Pre-Registration pharmacy students were invited to give 10 minute presentations of project work they had been involved with. Abstracts of the presentations can be found below.

The winner of the competition was:
Maryam Khaki - a Pre-Reg Pharmacy student at University Hostital Lewisham, with a project entitled “Medication related problems in an older population”

The runners up were:
Lola Adeyemi - a Pre-Reg Pharmacy student with Numark in Portsmouth with a project entitled “A report on the making of elder-friendly pharmacies” see also video at https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B3G_r0EKKuLZcG5EeWZNWkthdU0/edit?usp=drive_web&pli=1

Mehreen Karim a Pre-Reg Pharmacy student at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust with a project entitled “A Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) to improve the rates of physical health monitoring in patients prescribed antipsychotics at South London and Maudsley (SLaM) inpatient units”
